Roles & Responsibilities
Providing Quality Care
- Perform all nursing procedures, which include administration of medications, wound dressing and meal feeding.
- Assist Senior/ Staff Nurses during treatment and examination of residents.
- Carry out overall hygiene care for residents
- Accompany residents to participate in daily group exercises
- Any other duties as assigned by the Senior/Nurse Manager and Staff Nurses
Training & Development
- Participate in relevant quality improvement and assessment activities.
Administration and management
- Assist in maintaining residents records on their condition and progress
- Educate family members of residents on the residents health conditions and help them gain understanding on the holistic care provided.
Educational Requirements:
- NITEC Certificate in Nursing from an recognised institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
State other requirements/qualities such as personality traits, interests or skills required for the job:
- Demonstrate good communications and people engagement skills, preferably the use of local languages and dialects.
- Good organisation ability
- Able to form networks and strong linkages with stakeholders.
- Able to work in shift
Years of Experience Required:
- Candidates with nursing qualification without experience will be considered.
- For Senior position, at least 6 to 7 years of experience, preferably with experience in public healthcare or nursing home sector.
