About Our Group
Our Facilities Engineering team ensures the smooth, safe, and reliable 24/7 operation of Seagate's hightech manufacturing plant. We manage and maintain missioncritical utilities and building systems including chillers, cooling towers, compressed dry air, vacuum systems, process cooling water, wastewater systems (AWN), high/low tension electrical installations, and cleanroom HVAC. We directly support Seagate's worldclass Recording Media Operations by delivering efficiency, stability, sustainability, and innovation across all facility functions.

About The Role - You Will
As an Senior Engineering Specialist, you will be an essential member of the team that keeps the plant running safely, reliably, and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:
- Learning and supporting the operation and control of facility systems via the Facility Control Center using SCADA.
- Performing daily equipment logging, updating checklists, and carrying out inhouse preventive maintenance (PM).
- Supervising vendor PM and repair works, ensuring full compliance with SOPs.
- Scheduling, tracking, and closing weekly/monthly PM work orders in the computerized maintenance system.
- Responding swiftly and effectively to any facility equipment breakdowns or productionrelated issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitoring system performance, capacity usage, and generating performance reports for review.
- Recording and optimizing plant water consumption to support sustainability initiatives.
- Tracking Cooling Tower water quality and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining organized records of equipment service reports for internal and external audits.
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Shows strong initiative, a positive attitude, and excellent teamwork.
- Is dependable, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Has strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Learns quickly, adapts well, and actively contributes to improvement.
- Is able to work rotating 12hour shifts.
- 3–5 years of handson Facilities O&M experience in semiconductor, wafer fab, or electronics manufacturing.
- Troubleshooting experience in electrical distribution, MCC, VSD, ACMV systems, and general building services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Electrical and HVAC system experience.
- Experience working with FMS SCADA systems
