Senior Engineering Manager / AM

1. To provide engineering support and assist marketing with retention of existing clients & seek new clients for ship building division.

2. Assist commercial newbuilding and commercial ship repair in tender exercise for newbuilding and conversion projects.

3. Review of contract, technical and equipment specification to meet design obligation.

4. Generate basic design concept to align with new building tender.

5. Prepare drawing schedule and arrange for technical meeting with client, classification, designer, vendor and system integrators.

6. Execute new building design and engineering production plan for awarded new building projects.

7. Carry out Interpretation of classification rules and Maritime regulation. Ability to read design drawings.

8. To work independently with a team.

Requirements:
1. Polytechnic / Degree in Marine or Naval Arch. or equivalent.

2. At least 5 years of engineering experience in marine or offshore related industries.

3. Understand basic shipbuilding and project process. Able to comprehend technical specifications and carry out discussion with clients.

4. Analytical Ability.

5. Communication Skills.

6. Interpersonal Skills.

7. Microsoft Words, Excel, Power point and AutoCad.

8. Bilingual (English and Mandarin).

9. Required to travel to Indonesia, Taiwan and other countries for technical meeting.
