Senior Engineer, Technical Services

To support the safe, reliable, and optimized operation of Linde's Jurong Island plant by performing process studies, process trend analysis, plant troubleshooting. Also, provide technical leadership in carrying out process design & safety reviews. To lead the development of small projects related to plant's reliability &productivity improvements.

Responsibilities:
. Perform process reviews, technical feasibility studies, process data analysis and provide technical support for continuous plant operation

. Technical ownership for the assigned plant area including monitoring of performance, reliability, efficiency

. Advice operation team on operating parameters for the optimized operating mode for the plant considering the plant constraints, sustainability of operation and demand

. Taking leadership in troubleshooting of plant issues related to equipment and process Work closely with the maintenance and operation team to improve the plant availability

. Provide the required technical support as technical lead in the plant reliability and productivity improvement projects

. Propose and undertake continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, energy efficiency and reliability

. Lead the assigned plant improvement activities with cross-functional coordination. Prepare justifications for investments with cost benefit and savings calculations for improvement projects

. Play active role as technical lead in plant shutdown, startup and commissioning activities as needed

. Provide support for the plant turnaround planning by identifying and justifying the scope. Also, carry out work packages supervision, quality assurance during Plant Turnaround as needed

. Review and improve critical operating procedures with guidance from technical experts

. Work closely with global support functions to evaluate and implement technical and operational best practices

. Continue to develop and grow technical expertise by keeping abreast of latest technical development in area of interest

Requirements:
Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university ideally in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 10 years of process engineering, plant operation and technical service experience in Industrial Gas, Petrochemical or Refining facilities.
