Provide technical and operational support for 4G/5G Mobile Core nodes (nTAS/MSS/SBC/CFX/HSS/HLR/OneNDS/UDM/AUSF/FW) and International Roaming related service support.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily operation and administration of 4G/5G Mobile Core nodes (nTAS/MSS/SBC/CFX/HSS/HLR/OneNDS/UDM/AUSF/FW) and ensure smooth network operation.
Carry out system maintenance activities eg patch installation to improve system performance, system release upgrade.
Develop and review system operations processes, update network and operational documents to ensure operation effectiveness.
Perform system security hardening, vulnerability assessment, and implement the necessary corrections/ processes to mitigate security risks.
Perform proactive monitoring of network service KPIs/ alarms and performance analysis to ensure service quality level.
Perform service troubleshooting and testing with local service providers and overseas roaming partners.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Appropriate qualification in Electronics/ Communications/ Networking or equivalent
Good technical knowledge of Mobile 4G/ 5G Core network and related service/ call flows and associated protocols (IMS/VoLTE/SS7/Sigtran/Diameter/SIP/SCTP)
Ability to perform end-to-end network service troubleshooting
Working knowledge of VoLTE roaming and IREG related testing
Working knowledge of Network and Application Securities
Working knowledge of IP switching and routing protocols
Working knowledge of Linux and VM
Basic proficiency in programming and scripting skills
Willing to perform late night maintenance during maintenance window period for release/ upgrade/ software patch installation and project cutover
