YOUR ROLE

This role is required to support STMicroelectronics Global Logistics and Warehousing Organization (GLWO) operation. Develops, implements and monitors processes to ensure logistics and warehousing operation meet the established quality requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities include establishing quality control processes, procedures, specification, analyzing quality data, documenting findings, collaborating with other departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operation quality and customer satisfaction.

Monitoring and Inspection

  • Govern inspection process including monthly reporting of Quality Control inspection status
  • Maintain, review and propose the inspection frequency to ensure effectiveness in defect detection
  • Monitor, track and drive quality improvement of shipping damage performance
  • Collect, analyze and report quality performance trends and identify area for improvement in GLWO processes

Quality Procedure & Specification Management

  • Ensure quality procedure and specification is up-to-date and validate its accuracy
  • Point of contact for Quality Procedure & Specification review
  • Lead and coordinate Quality Procedure and Specification creation, review, revise and update
  • Drive and communicate the implementation of approved Quality Procedure and Specification
  • Provide training and for Quality Procedure and Specification to the respective stakeholders

FMEA and Control Plan Management

  • Responsible for GLWO FMEA and Control Plan Governance Procedure
  • Lead and drive Master FMEA review with core team members
  • Govern of site level FMEA and Control Plan validation and accuracy
  • Drive cross fertilization of detection control to all GLWO sites covering FMEA and Control Plan
  • Report of FMEA and Control Plan validation status and as central point of approval

Regional Quality in Operation and Quality Improvement (EMEA & US)

  • Lead and conduct regular meetings with operation team in the region covering operation quality matters
  • Cascade quality information such as Quality Management System (QMS) directive and cross fertilization needs
  • Cascade and drive quality improvement activities for the region aligning with corporate strategy
  • Provide support to regional team on quality in operation related matters
  • Perform audit according to the audit program established to ensure compliance to company policies, relevant standards

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with other departments and organization such as Corporate Quality, Operation Team and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) for information cascading, resolve quality issues and to ensure processes meet quality requirement

Others

  • Support or lead organization improvement projects
  • Support Corporate Quality initiated projects
  • Train quality inspector ensuring they are proficient in quality inspection, follow established process and best practices for quality assessment
  • recommend improvements to existing processes and systems

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management and Quality Control
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Tools, FMEA, Control Plan and data analysis
  • Certification in IATF16949 lead auditor will be advantageous
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or logistics processes and semiconductor industry is preferred
  • Good communication, problem solving, time-management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, SAP will be added advantageous
