The Opportunity:
Oversees Facilities Management, Engineering and Operations projects from planning, execution to final completion to ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors and staff is provided for at all times
The incumbent shall be responsible to:
- Manage Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects
- Carry out maintenance of existing structures and project management of current and new facilities
- Supervise the preventive maintenance works carried out by the outsourced service partners
- To implement various programs for the operations, maintenance and improvement of the building facilities, equipment and infrastructure
- Develop work plan to improve reliability and integrity of the system
- Working with various internal and external stakeholders
- Update Management on Integrated Operations and improvement e.g Kaizen
- Analysis and development on maintenance contracts
- Perform shift coverage when required
- Develop plans at all levels, write report / papers and provide project updates
- Take on project manager role in various integrated operations areas
- Support the Department in Audits, Inspections and Accreditation
The Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of experience in Project Management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a high technology manufacturing or healthcare environment would be an added advantage
