Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical engineering works for our projects. The successful candidate will oversee design, implementation, and site coordination while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering design, planning, and execution to deliver compliant and efficient project outcomes
- Prepare and review detailed electrical drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to achieve quality and safety standards
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore electrical codes and safety regulations to maintain legal and operational standards
- Attend site meetings and proactively resolve technical issues to maintain project momentum and quality
- Review and approve shop drawings and material submissions to ensure conformity with project requirements
- Monitor project progress, quality, and cost control to meet deadlines and budget targets
- Guide and supervise junior engineers and technical staff to develop team capabilities and ensure project success
- Utilize AutoCAD and relevant engineering software to support design and documentation processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proven experience in handling electrical projects independently, demonstrating autonomy and problem-solving skills
- Experience in building services and construction projects to support diverse project demands
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and earthing systems to ensure technical proficiency
- Familiarity with Singapore codes, EMA, and local authority requirements to ensure compliance
- Good leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
