Our client is one of leading Payment Service Providers, headquartered in South Korea. They are looking for an experienced Senior Payments Engineer to join their growing fintech engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable payment processing systems and APIs.
- Build and maintain gateway integrations with processors like Stripe, Adyen, Square, and traditional banking networks.
- Implement PCI DSS compliance measures and maintain security best practices.
- optimize system performance to handle high transaction volumes and peak loads.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on payment system best practices.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of software engineering experience with at least 4-5years specifically in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
- Deep understanding in distributed systems, and cloud platforms, deep domain knowledge of payment standards and security.
