Senior Engineer I, BB MHS Engineering

As a Senior Engineer in MHS Engineering Organization, this position will be involved in designing and improving material handling systems to transport leadframe, substrates and magazines through the machines. This includes design of electromechanical systems, providing supporting documentation and elaborate testing of design prototypes.

Responsibilities:

• Define requirements and features for new material handling systems/ subsystems
• Design new MHS systems, improve the design of existing ones and develop CAD models
• Interface with multiple engineering and non-engineering functions, as well as 3rd parties, to develop material handling system solutions against cost targets
• Lead and coordinate various engineering activities to support program deliverables
• Define and develop success-criteria and subsystems /systems validation/qualification plans
• Perform subsystem and system level validation/qualification tests and analyze test data
• Work with software team and draft material flow and mechanical sequence flowcharts
• Analyze existing systems in order to facilitate interface development and implementation.
• Work with subject matter experts to analyze reported problems and generate alternative solutions
• Support knowledge creation and sharing efforts of the organization

Qualifications:

• Master's/bachelor's degree in mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in maintaining high levels of accuracy in work.
• CAD Modeling experience. Knowledge of NX preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of high precision electro- mechanical systems. Experience with sensors and pneumatic components selections
• Wide range product development experience, desirably in semiconductor equipment material handling
• Experience with various script or programming languages will be an added advantage
• Experience with multi-site engineering collaboration
