Introduction
As a senior engineer in the failure analysis department, you will perform electrical Failure Analysis work on wafer and package samples using various analytical tools.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed EFA analysis using SOM, Thermal Microscope, FIB, SEM, AFP, XRM, CSAM and OM analytical tools and generating EFA report upon completion of jobs
Participate and provide FA advice and support to Fab Ops and TD on defect pareto build up for yield enhancement activities and root cause investigation for line issues and customer returned FA.
Document FA operating procedures, training and certification specs.
Develop new failure analysis techniques to support new technologies.
To mentor Engr/Sr. AE/AE on skillset development and develop EFA analysis SOPs
Responsible for EFA equipment upkeep, tool uptime and safety and housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor/Master/PhD in Engineering or Scienceswith 5 years relevant experience
Familiar with Electrical parameters, IC testing, fault diagnosis, failure analysis techniques
Ability to work well with others and an interest in IC failure analysis/chemical analysis
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a cross functional team environment.
