Senior Engineer / Engineer, Facilities Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily facilities operations and maintenance activities for building services, utilities, mechanical and electrical systems, including ACMV, electrical distribution, plumbing and sanitary systems, fire protection, lifts, compressed air, lighting and related infrastructure

• Develop, implement and monitor preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability, minimise downtime and maintain safe operating conditions

• Troubleshoot facilities, utilities and building system faults conduct root cause analysis and coordinate timely rectification with internal teams, technicians, contractors and equipment vendors

• Supervise external contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within agreed scope and in accordance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements

• Prepare scope of work, technical specifications, cost estimates, quotation comparisons, maintenance reports, incident reports and other engineering documentation as required

• Support facilities improvement, upgrading and replacement projects, including site surveys, contractor briefings, work coordination, testing, commissioning and handover documentation

• Conduct routine inspections of building conditions, facility assets and workplace environment, and recommend practical improvements for safety, reliability, energy efficiency and maintainability

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset condition, statutory inspections, permits, service reports, equipment manuals and relevant system documentation

• Provide technical support to user departments, respond to facilities-related feedback or complaints, and coordinate timely follow-up actions to minimise disruption to operations

• Guide technicians and junior team members in troubleshooting, maintenance execution, safe work practices and continuous improvement initiatives

• Carry out any other facilities, engineering or operational duties assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• 5 years of working experience in Engineering and Facilities management

• Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
