About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to take ownership of critical facility operations in the North area. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team while ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of complex building systems.
You will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations across M&E and ACMV systems, as well as process utilities, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide subject matter expertise in M&E, ACMV, and process utility systems to ensure efficient and reliable performance
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of shift leads and technicians, fostering a strong culture of accountability and collaboration
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including maintenance and troubleshooting, to ensure system uptime and regulatory compliance
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance programmes to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime
- Manage emergency situations, ensuring timely response, coordination, and resolution to reduce operational impact
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and compliance documentation
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth, integrated facility management operations
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in building operations or a similar engineering role
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E, ACMV, and process utility systems
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a 24/7 operational environment
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience is advantageous
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs
