Senior Engineer - AI

We are looking for a Senior Engineer - AI to help design, build, and ship practical AI-powered solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, product-minded, and comfortable using modern AI engineering tools to move quickly from idea to working implementation.

The candidate should have proven experience building real-world software solutions, preferably involving AI, automation, developer tools, agents, workflow optimization, or applied machine learning. They should be able to work independently, make strong technical decisions, and turn ambiguous business problems into reliable, maintainable systems.

A key requirement for this role is strong practical experience using AI coding and development tools such as Claude Code and Codex. The candidate should know how to use these tools effectively to accelerate development, debug issues, generate and refactor code, write tests, review architecture, and improve engineering productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, tools, and workflows.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, and other AI development tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, integrations, and automation pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into working technical solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, and AI APIs where appropriate.
• Prototype quickly, validate technical feasibility, and turn prototypes into production-ready systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Review code, guide technical direction, and mentor other engineers.
• Stay current with AI engineering practices, developer tooling, and emerging model capabilities.

Required experience and skills:

• Proven experience building and shipping software solutions in production.
• Strong hands-on experience using Claude Code and Codex for real engineering work.
• Solid software engineering background, preferably with backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or platform experience.
• Experience working with LLM APIs, AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI workflow automation.
• Ability to design robust systems, not just prototypes.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or similar.
• Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and architectural thinking.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience building internal AI tools, coding agents, automation platforms, or enterprise AI applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, orchestration frameworks, evaluation pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Experience improving engineering productivity through AI-assisted development.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment.
