Role Overview

The Senior Engineer 2 will play a critical role in supporting the WMS Columbus program, a large-scale, multiyear transformation that will shape the future of Supply Chain operations at Catalyst. While the initial focus is on the Columbus implementation, this role will be pivotal in supporting the broader WMS roadmap, including future rollouts planned from 2027 to 2030.

This is a highly complex, fastpaced environment with multiple parallel workstreams and release cycles. To ensure successful implementation, minimize risk, and optimize performance, Catalyst is seeking a senior-level technical professional with prior WMS expertise and strong fullstack development capabilities.

• Serve as a senior technical consultant for the Infios Warehouse Advantage Product Suite, contributing handson expertise throughout the WMS lifecycle.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define, design, configure, test, and implement scalable and highperformance WMS solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions and integrations, primarily using .NET or Java platforms.
• Design and execute complex SQL queries and scripts to support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Configure and support API- and Kafka-based integrations between WMS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Support integration testing, system testing, and performance testing, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to:
• Manage production incidents, fixes, and enhancements
• Drive operational excellence in existing WMS installations
• Extend and mature the DevOps operating model postColumbus golive
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisionmaking to support longterm WMS modernization and reuse across global rollouts.
• Work closely with architects, functional teams, ERP teams, and external partners across multiple workstreams and releases.
• Document solutions and support knowledge sharing across teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers and implementation partners as needed.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8-10 years of diversified and hands-on experience in software development
• Proven experience implementing and supporting the Infios Warehouse Advantage Product Suite.
• Strong fullstack development experience using either Java (Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs), or .NET (.NET Core, C#, Web APIs)
• Strong SQL expertise, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts.
• Handson experience with API integration and eventdriven architectures (Kafka or similar).
• Experience with integration testing, performance testing, and production support.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including incident management, CI/CD pipelines, and postgolive support models.
• Experience working with production systems, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Ability to operate effectively in a large-scale, multirelease transformation program.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting enterprise WMS transformations in retail, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Deep understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and supply chain execution processes.
• Exposure to cloudbased deployments and modern integration patterns.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams and agile delivery models.
