They build smart devices and edge hardware that enable predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and digital transformation for industrial operators worldwide.
Their Hardware R&D team works at the intersection of electronics, firmware, and AI, rapidly designing and deploying products at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end hardware architecture including analog/digital circuits, DSP, EMI/EMC, and hazardous-area compliance.
- Develop and validate firmware in C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and enclosure designs for industrial-grade devices.
- Drive environmental, robustness, functional, and compliance testing.
- Integrate industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, IO-Link, Profinet, Profibus, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP).
- Manage third-party engineering partners and coordinate with internal product, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware/firmware issues on real machinery in harsh field environments.
- Ensure reliable sensor data acquisition and wireless connectivity (BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, Wi-Fi).
- Maintain technical documentation and oversee change management.
Ideal Candidate
- 58 years of hands-on embedded hardware/firmware experience in industrial or high-reliability environments.
- Strong C/C++ coding skills and familiarity with Rust or Python.
- Proficient in electronic design, PCB layout, microcontroller firmware, and embedded debugging.
- Experience with Zigbee 3.0 mesh networks, LoRa/Zigbee gateways, and low-power battery-based device design.
- Strong understanding of sensors (vibration, acoustic, temperature) and calibration.
- Familiarity with CE, FCC, ATEX, and IECEx certifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams and deliver complex hardware systems.
