Join our team as a Senior Electrician, where you will play a critical role in building and commissioning complex automation equipment. In this hands-on position, you will carry out panel, machine, and pneumatic wiring, perform power-up and I/O testing, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic hardware to ensure machines meet performance, quality, safety, and project requirements. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams, contributing throughout the entire machine build, testing, commissioning, and servicing lifecycle.
Your Main Tasks
- Perform panel and machine wiring according to company standards
- Carry out pneumatic wiring works
- Conduct power-up tests and I/O tests before programming handover
- Assist engineers during machine testing, commissioning, and servicing
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic hardware issues
- Support simple electrical and pneumatic diagram design
- Assist engineers with BOM purchases, data collection, and report preparation
- Maintain inventory of common-use electrical components and accessories
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, EHS regulations, and documentation
- Report to Head of Department and Project Manager during project execution.
Your Profile
- ITE / NTC in Electrical or Mechatronics
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (hands-on wiring experience is a must)
- Familiar with:
i) I/O systems and pneumatic tubing wiring.
ii) Inverters, servo controllers, and safety relays.
iii) Electrical schematics diagram and symbols.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- Willing to travel when required.
