Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Our client is a leading chemicals manufacturer seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects within a process plant environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead E&I engineering activities for plant upgrades, expansions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, instrumentation, PLC, DCS, and control systems to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
• Manage E&I maintenance strategies, equipment lifecycle planning, and root cause failure investigations.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and contractor deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of E&I engineering experience in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or other process plant industries.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, process control, and plant safety requirements.
