Job Description

Our client is an SME construction company (subcon). We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Quality Control) to oversee and ensure the quality of all electrical works on site. The role is responsible for verifying compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Implement and manage QA/QC procedures for electrical works on site.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical installations, equipment, and materials.
- Review and verify electrical shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor site workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve quality-related matters.
- Maintain proper quality documentation, including inspection records and test reports.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover processes to ensure all quality requirements are met..

Requirement

Requirements & Preferences

(Must)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for electrical works in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects within the Subcontractor environment
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, QA/QC standards, and best practices.
- Familiar with Singapore codes, statutory regulations, and authority submission requirements.
- Willing to work overtime or during weekends as the project is at its peak
- Willing to work in Tuas (company transportation provided from the designated MRT station).
- Willing to work under contract employment (depending on headcount and company performance)
- Able to join within 1 month
