Company Overview
Our client a leading engineering company with a significant global presence. They specialize in a broad range of electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications engineering services for various sectors, including building, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Quality Control, to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage quality control procedures for electrical works on site.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical installations, equipment, and materials.
- Review and verify electrical shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for compliance.
- Monitor workmanship to ensure alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs), track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and test reports.
- Support handover and commissioning by ensuring all electrical quality requirements are met.
Key Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in quality control for electrical works in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, standards, and QA/QC practices.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and authority requirements in Singapore.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in industrial or large infrastructure projects is an advantage.
