We are seeking for Senior Electrical Engineer / PCBA Specialist on behalf of our client and to take ownership of their entire hardware development process from translating system requirements into board-level designs to delivering fully validated, production-ready PCBAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop electronic system architecture down to the PCBA level, based on project requirements.
- Design and implement PCBAs that incorporate microcontrollers, motor drivers, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Handle the complete design cycle: component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout coordination, prototype bring-up, and verification ensuring readiness for volume production (NPI).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex design and integration issues.
- Conduct instrument-level hardware validation and provide actionable feedback for design improvements.
- Manage configuration control for hardware changes across the product portfolio.
- Produce and maintain detailed engineering documentation, test procedures, and compliance reports for regulated environments
- Organize and lead electrical design reviews, driving accountability and decision-making.
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
- Skilled in using CAD tools such as OrCAD and Altium Designer for schematic and layout work.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, digital/analog mixed-signal design, and motor control electronics.
- Proficient with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies) for debugging and validation.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to present findings clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven troubleshooting experience in EMI/EMC/ESD issues.
- Knowledge of regulatory safety standards (e.g., IEC61010) and risk management practices relevant to life science or robotic systems.
