Job Description & Requirements:
- Check and monitor the progress of shop drawings for approval submission
- Ensures the understanding and compliance of drawings with standards and specifications
- Ensures understanding of project scope and requirements that impact accuracy of shop drawings
- Prepares shop drawings and necessary documentation submission to main contractors/architects, etc
- Prepares and updates status of shop drawing submission for each project
- Highlights and discusses any discrepancies on items/materials with relevant parties
- Co-ordinates and liaise with various contractor/consultant on shop drawing
- Prepares shop drawing and as-builts drawing and submission to consultants for approval
- Attends site meetings, progress and design meetings to provide status updates and resolves design and other issues
- Any other duties as may be assigned.- At least 5 years of recent experience in autocad drawing work
Requirements
. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
. Min 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering works
. Experience in construction industry an advantage
. Knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting
. Knowledge of REVIT/BIM an advantage
