Job Summary
This full-time hybrid role based in Singapore is for a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems to optimize functionality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical and instrumentation systems to meet project specifications and operational requirements
- Develop detailed technical specifications to guide system implementation and upgrades
- Perform system testing and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to ensure reliability and compliance
- Oversee installations and upgrades of electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with project goals and provide technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations throughout project lifecycle
- Manage engineering project activities to deliver solutions on time and within scope
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in electrical design, circuit analysis, and power systems
- Expertise in instrumentation, process automation, and control systems
- Knowledge of compliance standards, including safety and environmental regulations
- Experience with project management in engineering projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to electrical and instrumentation challenges
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
