Senior Edge Product Solutions Engineer

About the role

This role owns Edge solutions and Edge L3 operations for our global customers, and drives AI implementation in the Edge product. You will represent Edge in cross-team and cross-domain solution designs, be the L3 escalation point for Edge issues worldwide, and the person who turns market feedback into product direction.

Responsibilities

1. Edge solutions.

Lead the Edge part of customer and internal solution designs, working across cloud, product, delivery and customer teams and across domains such as building management, energy and industrial. Define interfaces, protocols, data models, network and security architecture, and the Edge capability boundary. Review and sign off Edge solutions before delivery. On-site work only where the design requires it.

2. Global L3 operations.

Be the final technical escalation for Edge issues across all regions. Localise problems quickly across devices, protocols, network, gateway software and cloud, establish root cause with evidence, and drive fixes to closure with R&D. Handle complex cases independently, including packet-level analysis and cross-ticket correlation. Build the knowledge base and tooling that lets L2 resolve more without escalation.

3. Product loop.

Bring product thinking to the role: understand the market and the product well enough to turn customer and field feedback into prioritised product requirements, validate features against real deployments, and close the loop with R&D so the same problem does not come back.

4. AI implementation.

Deliver AI capabilities in the Edge product, not just use AI tools: build and ship industrial agents for diagnosis and operations, fine-tune and evaluate models for Edge and site scenarios, and design the data and evaluation loops behind them.

5. Coordinate across product, R&D, delivery and customer teams; travel as needed.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in IoT/OT solutions, system integration or technical operations, in domains such as building management, energy, utilities or industrial automation, including customer-facing solution or L3 work.
• Strong command of industrial communication protocols and of Linux, networking and security fundamentals, at the depth needed to diagnose problems at packet and configuration level.
• Proven track record of resolving complex production issues independently and writing clear root-cause findings for customers and internal teams.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI or LLM applications: agents, RAG, fine-tuning, or model evaluation.
• Product sense: able to translate market and field feedback into product requirements.
• Mandarin proficiency to collaborate with China-based R&D teams.
• Singapore Citizen or PR.

Good to Have

• Experience with SCADA, BMS or EMS platforms, or with edge gateway products.
• Information security background: vulnerability assessment and system hardening.
• Programming ability.
• Experience with model fine-tuning on industrial or vision data, or with AI on edge hardware.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or a related field.ations or automation scripting.
