Senior Drafter

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for interior design projects.
• Develop detailed furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, lighting layouts, electrical plans, and other relevant technical drawings.
• Produce detailed carpentry drawings, including built-in cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and custom-made furniture.
• Translate interior designers concepts, sketches, and design proposals into accurate technical drawings for construction and installation.
• Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings according to design changes, site measurements, and client feedback.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing site conditions where required.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building regulations, technical requirements, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and organise drawing files, revisions, and project records.
• Support the project team in resolving technical drawing issues during the construction and installation stages.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant design software will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret interior design plans, construction drawings, and technical details.
• Good understanding of carpentry detailing, material specifications, and interior construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the design and project teams.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply relevant working experience will be an advantage.
