Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director / VP of Operations - Industrial IoT to lead our sourcing, procurement, supply chain, within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations across all phases of our industrial IoT product lifecycle, from sourcing to final product sales fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring robust experience in industrial product manufacturing and supply chains, deep familiarity with Global Logistics and trade, and other relevant compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement: Provide direction for business planning, manufacturing processes, and facility investments, while developing and implementing sourcing and procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and timelines. Manage vendor, warehouse and partner relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best value and service.

Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient materials flow, inventory control, and timely product delivery. Lead engagement with contract manufacturers, managing operational processes and overseeing quality management standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and maintain continuity.

Global trade and Logistics: Oversee the overall logistics and familiar with global trade regulations; drive the overall operations in the current challenging environment in global logistics and trade.

Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify opportunities for process improvement across operations, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with internal regulations as well as relevant industry standards and certifications. Ensure all transactions are timely and accurately recorded and tracked in the ERP system.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and responsiveness to the fast-paced demands of a startup environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced certifications (e.g., CSCP, APICS) preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations management, Logistics, Global trade with a strong background in industrial IoT or industrial product manufacturing.

Expertise:

o Deep knowledge of Global Logistics and Trade, FMEA, RBA, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

o Proven track record in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management for industrial products.

o Familiarity with supply chain dynamics in the industrial sector.

Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with vendors and partners.
