We are seeking a results-driven Senior expert in Corporate Development to lead end-to-end integration efforts for acquired targets, ensuring seamless alignment of people, processes, systems, and culture. This role will own the pre/post M&A integration strategy, execution roadmap, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize synergies, minimize disruption, and deliver on the strategic value of M&A transactions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in integration methodologies, integration strategy development, change management, and stakeholder leadership across global or multi-business environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive integration strategies and roadmaps for acquired targets, aligned with corporate objectives (e.g., revenue growth, cost synergies, market expansion).
- Lead cross-functional integration teams (Finance, Operations, HR, CIO, Legal, BD, Marketing) to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and deliver on integration milestones.
- Define integration priorities, timelines, and success metrics (e.g., synergy realization, employee retention, customer satisfaction, system integration completion).
- Conduct pre-close integration planning (e.g., due diligence support, risk assessment, integration readiness) and post-close execution (e.g., process harmonization, system migration, organizational restructuring).
- Manage integration budgets, resources, and external vendors (if applicable) to ensure cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
- Communicate integration updates to executive leadership, board members, target company stakeholders, and internal teamsensuring transparency and buy-in.
- Lead or faciliate change management initiatives, including cultural integration, employee onboarding, and skill development, to minimize resistance and foster collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate integration risks (e.g., operational disruptions, regulatory compliance gaps, talent attrition) through proactive planning and contingency measures.
- Document integration best practices, tools, and lessons learned to refine the organization's integration framework.
- Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate potential acquisition targets from an integration feasibility perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in integration management, corporate development, or strategy.
- Proven track record of leading successful end-to-end integration of mid-sized to large acquired targets (domestic or global) and/or leading strategy development of tech companies of financial institutions.
- Deep expertise in integration methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., synergy tracking, process mapping, change management frameworks).
- Solid experience in M&A strategy development and deal excecution is the plus.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skillsability to influence and align teams across departments, geographies, and hierarchical levels.
- Excellent project management capabilities: ability to manage complex, time-sensitive initiatives with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and limited resources.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsability to assess risks, identify gaps, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills: ability to articulate complex integration plans to executive leaders, employees, and external partners.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., antitrust, data privacy) and legal considerations in M&A integrations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
