Job responsibilities:
Lead multiple M&A projects for the group, with a high degree of autonomy for the small and medium sized transactions, and working closely with the Director of the Asia Pacific and Middle-East zone on large transactions;
Analyze and execute the M&A transactions in cooperation with the relevant business divisions under the supervision of the Director of the Asia Pacific and Middle-East zone
Project management from the initial phase to the closing of the transaction
Report project development on a regular basis to the Director of the Asia Pacific and Middle-East zone
Present project analysis and transaction structure to the Director of the Asia Pacific and Middle-East zone, the Head of the Corporate Development or the Group CFO
Identify external growth opportunities for the Group
Understand the industry with in-depth analysis with regards to Asia Pacific and Middle-East region
Lead the transaction process from origination to closing
Organize and coordinate the due diligence process
Coordinating with technical experts both internally and externally (bankers, audit firms, legal departments, HR etc.)
Structure the projects from a legal and tax point of view
In charge of valuation and modeling of the project in coordination with the business units
Participating / leading negotiations with the targets and partners
Development of integration plans
Close cooperation with the business units to ensure operational success
Job qualifications:
Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or management from top tier schools
6 to 8 years of solid M&A deal working experiences in Asia Pacific and/or Middle-East with proven track record
Full investment cycle experience preferred
Operational finance experience preferred
Overseas working experiences or multinational corporation working experiences
Fluency in English and fluency in an Asian language will be a plus
