Your Role as a Zenika Consultant:

In this role, you will bring your deep expertise to client projects, acting as a technical advisor and architect. You won't just be a gatekeeper you will be a partner, empowering client teams to own their infrastructure while you elevate their development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

Cloud & Platform Architecture: Design and oversee scalable, enterprise-grade multi-cloud/hybrid architectures across AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Terragrunt).
Container & Platform Engineering: Architect resilient Kubernetes topologies (EKS, GKE, OpenShift) for enterprise workloads, including multi-cluster orchestration, service mesh strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
Modernization & Migration: Lead client migration strategies, transforming legacy monolithic architectures into cloud-native microservices ecosystems.

DevSecOps & Governance

Shift-Left Security & Compliance: Define organizational DevSecOps frameworks, integrating security, compliance, and governance controls directly into CI/CD pipelines.
Observability & SRE Practice: Architect enterprise-wide monitoring, logging, and incident response frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
CI/CD & GitOps Standardization: Drive the adoption of scalable continuous delivery pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) across multi-team engineering organizations.

Advisory, Leadership & Mentorship

Advisory: Serve as a strategic technical advisor to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and IT directors on cloud strategy, DevOps maturity, and technical roadmaps.
Technical Leadership: Lead delivery teams on complex consulting engagements, ensuring technical excellence and project alignment.
Mentorship & Practice Building: Coach internal Zenika consultants, conduct technical workshops, and contribute to Zenika's global knowledge-sharing and open-source initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

12+ years of software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps experience, with a proven track record in architecture or technical leadership roles.
Enterprise Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on and architectural mastery of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Advanced Orchestration & IaC: Extensive experience with Kubernetes administration, custom controllers, and Terraform/Terragrunt at enterprise scale.
CI/CD & GitOps Mastery: Proven ability to build and standardize release engineering frameworks across large-scale development organizations.
Programming & Automation: Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for platform automation and tooling development.
Strategic Consulting Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, technical negotiation, and the ability to articulate complex architectural decisions to non-technical leaders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Senior certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, CKA/CKS, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
Hands-on experience with Service Mesh implementations (Istio, Linkerd) and cloud-native security frameworks (Falco, OPA, Trivy).
Active participation in open-source communities, technical blogging, or conference speaking.
