Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito, Eventbridge and others.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CDK script to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
- Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost, implementing best practices for resource utilisation and cost optimisation.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of applications using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate code deployment, configuration management, and release processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates to production environments.
- Integrate automated testing, static code analysis, and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality, security, and compliance.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and applications hosted on AWS.
- Implement compliance frameworks and standards ensuring adherence to HIMS Cloud Security Policy
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering roles, with a focus on AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in project execution and demonstrated technical expertise.
- Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS, with a deep understanding of AWS services, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps, including configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as AWS CDK for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation, infrastructure management, and tooling development.
- Familiarity with security best practices, compliance frameworks, and security controls for cloud environments. Knowledge of HIMS Cloud Security Policy is a plus.
- Experience working with HCC (Healthcare Commercial Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
