We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a large MNC's investment services branch by leading the modernization of legacy systems, driving cloud-native transformation, and ensuring seamless deployment and operations across infrastructure.
The Position
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing legacy applications and infrastructure.
- Develop detailed migration plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Document migration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users to ensure a smooth transition.
The Candidate
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking.
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in Helm for Kubernetes application management.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, EFCore
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and Kafka.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
