Role Overview:-We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment processes. The role involves driving automation initiatives, improving system reliability, supporting cloud-based environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. The successful candidate will also mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:-- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery and deployment.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable DevOps solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation, deployment workflows, and operational processes.
- Manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and implement improvements where necessary.
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and system issues, implementing preventive measures.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities with minimal service disruption.
- Manage configuration management processes, including change control and system documentation.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance software delivery and system stability.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements:-Education- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience- 510 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, application deployment, and system administration.
- Experience managing containerized and distributed systems.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Technical Skills:-- DevOps methodologies and best practices.
- CI/CD tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Git-based pipelines).
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent.
- Containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace).
- Version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Incident management and troubleshooting.
- Security best practices within DevOps environments.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
