About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our cross-functional Agile team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational support, driving thought leadership in DevOps practices and ensuring our Agile DevOps Platform is scalable, secure, and efficient.

You will work at the intersection of development and operations, collaborating closely with Machine Learning Engineers to automate the lifecycle of ML models and partnering with Security Architects to bake-in best practices from the start.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Mastery: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate model training, testing, and production deployment.

• Operational Excellence: Provide end-to-end support for the Agile DevOps platform, including tool maintenance and version upgrades.

• Strategic Leadership: Drive DevOps thought leadership and mentor the team on modern infrastructure philosophies.

• Collaboration: Work within cross-functional Agile teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence to ensure seamless delivery.

• Monitoring & Health: Conduct continuous monitoring of Agile products to ensure peak performance and system health.

• Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and pipeline bottlenecks in a timely fashion.

Technical Requirements

Core Experience

• AWS Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Services, specifically EKS and Kibana.

• Cloud Architecture: Strong foundation in cloud-based architectures. While AWS is preferred, familiarity with Azure or GCP is a plus.

• Orchestration & Containers: Deep knowledge of Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Tooling & Skill Set

• CI/CD & SCM: Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, and various workflows (Gitflow, Trunk-based development).

• Automation & Configuration: Expert-level experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Scripting: Strong command of at least one scripting language (Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl, or PowerShell).

• Monitoring: Experience with data collection and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or similar.

• Build & Package Management: Experience with build tools (Ant, Rake) and package management (NPM, RPM).

• Architecture: Solid understanding of Microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Agile Mindset: Well-versed in Agile methodologies and comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments.

• Security Focus: A proactive approach to integrating security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle.
