Senior Designer

Job summary:

As a Senior Interior Designer specializing in hospitality design, you will lead and oversee the design process from concept to completion. Your expertise and passion for creating captivating, functional, and inviting spaces will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience within hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other hospitality venues. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to bring your design visions to life, ensuring exceptional quality and creativity in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

. Conceptualization and development of interior design concepts that align with the client's vision and project goals.

. Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to convey your ideas effectively.

. Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life through detailed design development and space planning.

. Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring that design solutions meet and exceed their expectations.

. Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.

. Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends, products, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years experience designing interiors of hotels
• Experience in handling hospitality and residential projects in all design phases from concept to site implementation
• Experience in designing for various hotel brands and understanding the specific needs required by operators
• Strong in space planning and able to assist in concept development
• Coordinate with the 3d visualization team to create realistic renderings reflecting the design intent
• Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching
• Good understanding of site work and implementation
• Strong communication skills
• Thorough understanding of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign
• Knowledge of Sketchup will be a plus
• Proficient in CAD standards and organization of drawing packages
• Strong organisational skills
• Able to understand drawings and design
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable to work independently
• Team player with a positive attitude
