Your role shall include but not limited to:
- Oversee all phases of the design process, from concept development to project completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with the Design Director and project teams to ensure design solutions align with client objectives and brand goals.
- Lead the development and presentation of interior design concepts, including materials, 3D renderings, and documentation, to effectively communicate ideas to stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with design teams, consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution within deadlines.
- Present design concepts and progress updates to senior stakeholders, incorporating feedback promptly to refine project outcomes.
- Lead, manage,and mentor the design team to enhance their professional development,problem-solving capabilities, and work efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility and prioritization to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
Flexibility in handling multiple projects. - Monitor emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into projects.
- Travel internationally as required for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in interior design for large-scale, high-profile hospitality projects, with a focus on luxury hotels, resorts, or mixed-use developments.
- Proven experience of dealing with international hotel operators and consultants, experience in managing China luxury hospitality or f&b projects would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch up, Microsoft Office, and related design software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and efficiency under pressure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage complex, multi-phase projects under tight schedules.
- Strong presentation skills, meticulous, creative thinking, and a positive, motivated work attitude.
- Bilingual communication skills in Mandarin and English are advantageous to facilitate collaboration with Chinese-speaking associates.
