Senior Design Engineer x2 (mechanical/equipment)

What you'll be doing

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and equipment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into detailed engineering designs

• Conduct feasibility studies, failure mode analyses, and risk assessments to ensure product reliability and safety

• Develop and test prototypes, validating design performance against specifications

• Prepare engineering drawings, documentation, and reports to support project milestones

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar role

• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design, including the use of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively

• Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
