Senior Design Engineer (Wafer fab plant/ piping works)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preparation, review, and quality assurance of AutoCAD 2D engineering drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and uphold drafting and BIM standards across projects, providing guidance on design visualization and best practices.

• Oversee and coordinate site surveys to ensure accurate updates to drawings and related documentation.

• Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to consolidate drafting requirements and ensure deliverables align with project objectives.

• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior drafters, including training and performance feedback.

• Administer engineering documentation processes, ensuring timely submission, version control, and proper filing of drawings and records.

• Promote continuous improvement in drafting workflows by introducing new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Represent the drafting team in project meetings, coordinating with stakeholders to address technical issues and support smooth project execution.

• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required, demonstrating adaptability and leadership in response to evolving project needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Bulk Gas, Specialty Gas, or System Piping.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

• Proven ability to read and interpret site blueprints and 2D/3D drawings with a detailed level of understanding..

• Willingness to be based at the East project site for a minimum of 2 years.
