SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER (PIPING)

• Location: Woodlands
• Working Hours: 5.5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Sat: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM)
• Willingness to commit to extended hours

Job Responsibilities

• Lead piping design for semiconductor and industrial facilities
• Develop layouts for process piping, UPW, chemical, and utility systems
• Perform pipe sizing, material selection, and stress considerations
• Review isometric drawings, layouts, and technical submissions
• Coordinate piping design with HVAC, cleanroom, electrical, and process teams
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
• Resolve design clashes and site-related piping issues
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on piping materials and standards
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and Singapore regulations
• Mentor junior engineers and review their design work
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of piping design experience, preferably in semiconductor projects
• Strong knowledge of process piping, UPW, and industrial utility systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D piping software, or Revit
• Good understanding of fluid mechanics and piping standards
• Strong coordination and leadership skills
• Good communication skills in English knowledge of Chinese is a plus
• Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience
