We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join the regional AI and Data team in Singapore, driving the development and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions across the insurance value chain.
In this role, you will design and implement Machine Learning and GenAI models that enhance customer engagement, optimize distribution channels, and improve decision-making across multiple markets. You will work closely with regional stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions while ensuring strong model governance and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that support business growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency across multiple markets.
- Build advanced predictive and prescriptive models across the insurance value chain, including customer analytics, distribution optimisation, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with regional business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI and advanced analytics can drive measurable business impact.
- Implement model governance, evaluation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure long-term performance, scalability, and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to analytics teams while contributing to regional AI best practices and data science standards.
Requirements
- 5 years of working experience in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions in production environments.
- Strong programming skills using Python, R, SQL, or similar data science tools.
- Experience with GenAI, NLP, or advanced AI techniques is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud or big data environments (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Azure) and strong stakeholder communication skills.
