Senior Data Scientist (GenAI, Marketing)

Vouch is partnering with a leading Insurance organisation to hire a Senior Data Scientist to join its AI team. This role sits at the intersection of GenAI, Data Science, and Marketing, where you will work directly with business stakeholders to turn commercial challenges into scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to identify high-value opportunities where AI, GenAI and advanced analytics can improve customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
• Develop LLM and Agentic AI solutions, alongside traditional Machine Learning and advanced analytics models.
• Translate complex business problems into production-ready AI solutions, working closely with architects, engineers and technology teams.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives, from use-case identification and modelling through deployment, testing, monitoring and optimisation.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and identify new opportunities to enhance targeting, personalization, customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI and GenAI, with strong hands-on modelling experience.
• Masters or Ph.D. qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience applying AI/ML or advanced analytics within Marketing or Sales functions; insurance or financial services experience is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/ LLM technologies and cloud-based AI platforms such as Azure Databricks, AI Foundry, AI Search or Kubernetes.
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into practical and scalable AI solutions.
