Role Overview

This role works with data to solve business problems, building and maintaining analytics solutions. The occupant shall understand the end user needs, help build analytics dashboards, models or presentation solution. for data based decisioning. They shall work closely with business users and data engineering team to develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning. You'll be expected to not just drive building of Business Intelligence solution within the organization but to also mentor a few junior analysts/data scientists.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Build Data Intelligent solutions
• Capability to understand business problems and propose intelligent solutions leveraging Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Execute data science experiments and get them approved
• End to end deployment of approved solutions using MLOps best practices
• Clear articulation and structuring of project findings
• Setup and develop use cases related to text analytics, classification, machine translation, chatbots etc. leveraging emerging technologies like GenAI and Agentic AI
• Develop analytics solution:
• Develop analytics solutions and dashboards
• Responsible for development, deployment, and validation of predictive model(s)
• Analyze large amounts of data to derive business insights and create innovative solutions
  
  

Prerequisites

• Strong understanding of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence fundamentals
• Familiarity with modern data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence libraries
• Solid experience with Python ecosystem. Exposure to PySpark to harness Big Data is a plus
• Good experience in managing stakeholders
• Three or more years of experience with data visualization/exploration tools including Power BI
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Redshift and RDS
• Ability to articulate solutions and process designs clearly
  
  

Experience

• Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, and machine learning, with at least 2+ years in a team leader role
• Excellent, communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to align AI initiatives with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a strong team player
  
  

Education

A Bachelor/Master degree from a Tier I institute or a Ph.D. in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
