Senior Data & Machine Learning Engineer

The opportunity
Help build a modern data foundation that turns highrate, timeindexed information into reliable, customerfacing insight across workstation and distributed environments. You'll sit at the intersection of data engineering and applied ML, designing ingestion paths, shaping storage patterns, and getting models safely into production.

What you'll do

. Build streaming and microbatch pipelines that ingest and transform large volumes of ordered events with predictable SLAs.

. Own partitioning, schema governance, retention/tiering, and cost controls for analytical and timeseries access patterns.

. Stand up feature computation for batch and streaming workloads, automate DataOps checks in CI/CD, and maintain lineage, quality, and drift monitors.

. Work with domain specialists to deploy, observe, and iterate models in both nearrealtime and offline settings expose secure inference endpoints.

. Embed validation, access controls, and policy compliance at every stage of the data and model lifecycle.

What makes you a great fit

. 7+ years building data systems with strong Python and SQL working knowledge of a compiled language (e.g., Go, Rust, or Java/Scala) is welcome.

. Handson with modern streaming frameworks and message brokers, plus columnar and timeseries storage formats and query engines.

. Depth in at least one cloud data ecosystem comfortable balancing cost, performance, and operability.

. Proficient in containerized, infrastructureascode environments and observability practices you automate what you operate.

. Clear communicator who frames tradeoffs and can collaborate across product, engineering, and field teams.
