Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and day-to-day operation of the enterprise cloud data platform onAzure.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
- Design and manage data ingestion and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory.
- Implement and manage data governance, access control, and metadata using Unity Catalog.
- Develop and maintain Lakehouse data models (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and cloud costs across Databricks workloads.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and drive continuous platform improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to data engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark in production environments.
- Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access management, including Unity Catalog.
- Proven experience designing and supporting scalable cloud data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
