Overview
To work with clinicians and lead data team in conceptualising, planning, developing and implement Data and AI Models to improve healthcare services. These modelling are for purpose of care models evaluation using statistical method, to improve efficiency through automation of work processes and to evolve and develop novel care paths leveraging Data and AI technologies. Finally, the senior data scientist will contribute to the research writing, sharing and publication of research manuscripts as part of healthcare services projects.
Responsibilities
Healthcare AI and Data Projects
To serve as the technical lead for project, ensuring delivery of the project outcomes.
To collaborate with Clinicians and team to identify high-impact areas for AI and data interventions in healthcare. This include conceptualise, plan, develop and implement data and AI Model to improve healthcare services
Develop and maintain technical standards and best practises for the department.
Project Management
When appropriate, assume the role of a project lead, overseeing all aspects of project execution, which includes managing of project timelines, resources and deliverable to ensure successful completion. This may involve grant management and claims
Research Contribution
To contribute to the research writing and presentation. Collaborate in publication of manuscripts of these research projects on relevant platform.
Team Leadership
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
Minimum Degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, AI or related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in data, information technology and AI related field
Proven track records of building and implementing Data Science, Machine learning and Gen AI models and related projects that are operationalised at corporate and beyond level
Experiences in healthcare or research work will be favourable
Experience in leading teams will be favourable
Experiences in project management, grant management, manuscript publishing will be favourable
