Role Overview

We are seeking a Data & AI Advisor to guide clients through their data and AI transformation journey — from strategy and governance to adoption and execution alignment. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, shaping strategic roadmaps and enabling responsible, sustainable value creation.

This role requires

• Strong consulting and advisory skills
• Deep expertise in data governance, AI governance, and data strategy
• Ability to communicate clearly with C-level stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Advisory & Strategy

• Assess data and AI maturity and identify high-value opportunities.
• Define data and AI transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Advise on data strategy, governance, operating models, and responsible AI practices.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.

2. Solution Design & Alignment

• Shape end-to-end analytics and AI solutions with architects, engineers, and data scientists.
• Define reference architectures, operating models, and execution playbooks.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical design across delivery phases.
• Provide oversight during implementation to ensure value and governance adherence.

3. Governance Leadership

• Lead advisory on data governance, AI governance, and stewardship models.
• Establish governance processes, controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Promote ethical, transparent, and responsible AI adoption within client organizations.

4. Thought Leadership & Evangelism

• Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, presentations, and executive engagements.
• Stay updated on emerging data, AI, analytics, and governance trends.
• Represent NCS at client workshops, industry forums, and strategic sessions.

5. Business Development & Practice Growth

• Support sales teams in shaping advisory offerings, proposals, and value propositions.
• Lead workshops, insights sessions, and strategic conversations.
• Mentor team members and develop advisory capabilities.
• Identify reusable frameworks and accelerators to strengthen practice delivery.
  
  

Required Experience & Qualifications

Technical & Advisory Expertise

• 5 - 8 years in data analytics, AI, or consulting roles with proven strategic advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of:
  • modern data platforms
  • cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • AI/ML and analytics capabilities
  • data governance & AI governance frameworks
• Experience designing enterprise roadmaps and transformation programs.

Leadership & Stakeholder Skills

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling abilities.
• Confident engaging C-level stakeholders on strategy and technical topics.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Experienced in managing complex, multi-disciplinary engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics).
• Consulting or enterprise transformation background.
