About the Role
We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional with expertise in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to lead and conduct advanced security testing across systems, networks, and applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse environments, provide technical leadership, and help organisations strengthen their cybersecurity posture against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end VAPT on systems, networks, and applications ranging from SME to enterprise level.
- Perform source code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and coding weaknesses.
- Carry out host configuration reviews, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards.
- Lead security audits and assessments, identifying gaps and recommending actionable remediation strategies.
- Provide expert consulting to stakeholders on improving cybersecurity frameworks and resilience.
- Deliver detailed technical reports and documentation on vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and recommended mitigation steps.
- Collaborate with IT audit teams to integrate VAPT insights into broader cybersecurity strategies.
- Keep abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to continuously improve VAPT capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in cybersecurity, with focus on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Proven experience in establishing or leading VAPT practices, including client engagement and project/team management.
- Strong technical expertise in conducting assessments across diverse IT environments.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, principles, and best practices.
- Familiarity with industry-standard VAPT tools and methodologies (e.g. OWASP, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team engagement.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, or similar are highly desirable.
