Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to support organisational resilience through effective incident response, security governance, and risk management practices. This role plays a key part in strengthening security operations, responding to cyber incidents, and supporting compliance initiatives aligned with recognised international security standards. Candidates with prior experience contributing to formal security certification programmes will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support cybersecurity incident response activities, including investigation, containment, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident remediation
- Maintain and continuously improve incident response processes, playbooks, and escalation workflows
- Support security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities, including policy development, risk assessments, and control reviews
- Actively participate in Information Security Management System (ISMS) initiatives, including preparation for, maintenance of, and improvement against recognised standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001)
- Contribute to security audits and certification activities by preparing documentation, tracking findings, and supporting closure of non‑conformities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess security risks and ensure appropriate control implementation
- Provide clear reporting on incidents, risks, and control effectiveness to management and stakeholders
- Promote security awareness and support organisational readiness through training and exercises
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with strong exposure to incident response and security governance
- Hands‑on experience handling security incidents, investigations, or crisis response activities
- Practical experience contributing to ISO/IEC 27001 or similar security certification journeys, including audits or ISMS implementation, is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of risk management, security controls, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with security monitoring, investigative, or forensic tools is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Relevant information security certifications are an advantage
