We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join a growing cybersecurity consulting team in Singapore. This is a client-facing consulting role, focused on advising customers on cybersecurity and IT security solutions rather than internal security operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing security architectures, conducting assessments, supporting pre-sales activities, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple industries.
Design and articulate end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, including security products and services aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and industry best practices.
Conduct security assessments across systems, networks, infrastructure, and applications to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and areas for improvement.
Recommend appropriate security controls and architecture enhancements to embed security into the design phase of technology initiatives.
Provide security advisory support throughout the system development lifecycle (SDLC), including design reviews, threat modelling, and change management processes.
Lead technical discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities with customers.
Partner with sales teams to provide technical expertise and guidance during customer engagements.
Support business development activities by delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
Engage customers to understand business and security requirements, share best practices, and support compliance initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation such as solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and presentation materials.
Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful solution implementation.
Act as a bridge between sales and technical teams to ensure smooth handover and customer satisfaction.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of cybersecurity best practices.
Participate in security assessments, reviews, and cybersecurity exercises when required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related areas.
Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and controls, including:
Security architecture and technology risk
Endpoint security, IAM, PAM
SIEM, SOAR, SOC operations
Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Attack Surface Management (ASM)
Application and network security
Familiarity with vulnerability management, security configuration, and automation.
Experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) is an advantage.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001, or vendor certifications are advantageous.
