Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Customer Service Executive:
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage end-to-end airfreight export shipments, coordinating with internal teams, customers, vendors, and overseas agents.
- Apply strong knowledge of cargo commodities and IATA regulations to ensure compliance.
- Arrange flight bookings with the procurement team and provide airfreight quotations when required.
- Verify AWB/HAWB and shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and highlight discrepancies to relevant parties.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and updates in the system.
- Liaise with overseas agents on shipment requirements, coordination, and rate negotiations.
- Obtain customer approval on rates prior to shipment execution.
- Provide timely updates on flight details and shipment status to customers.
- Ensure compliance with AED requirements and timely job file closure within KPIs.
- Monitor shipment uplift, transit, and delivery to ensure timely arrival, and communicate delays proactively.
- Ensure adherence to customer SOPs and shipment handling requirements to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor shipment progress to achieve monthly targets, annual objectives, and KPIs.
- Handle supplier invoice disputes and resolve discrepancies collaboratively with the team.
- Escalate critical issues promptly for resolution.
- Support team members on shipment execution when necessary.
- Participate in maintaining internal procedures, ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and legal requirements.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in airfreight export.
- Strong knowledge of IATA regulations DGR certification is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Pleasant personality and strong team player.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,500 +AWS +VB (1 Month)
- Working Location: Changi Airport
- Working Hours: 5.5 Days Work, Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm, Sat: 9am-1pm
