Salary: $150,000 $180,000/year USD
We are working with a Fin-Tech who are building cutting-edge blockchain and privacy technologies at the forefront of verifiable computation. Their teams are tackling some of the most challenging problems in scalability, privacy, and secure computation for large-scale financial data.
They are looking for a Senior Cryptography Engineer to join their Innovation Team, working closely with global experts in San Francisco, China and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to design and implement next-generation cryptographic protocols and privacy-preserving systems with real-world impact.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize privacy-preserving protocols and zero-knowledge proof systems (ZK-SNARKs, ZK-STARKs, etc.)
- Lead protocol design from the ground up, including identity and access considerations, ensuring post-quantum security where applicable
- Review and enhance existing privacy protocols through gap analysis, identifying improvements and regulatory considerations
- Work closely with blockchain and verifiable compute teams to enable scalable ZKP solutions for large datasets, without revealing sensitive information
- Collaborate across teams in San Francisco and China to ensure smooth integration with production and innovation systems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in cryptography best practices
What We're Looking For
- Advanced knowledge of cryptography fundamentals, including zero-knowledge proofs, homomorphic encryption, and protocol design
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cryptographic protocols
- Hands-on exposure to privacy protocols and blockchain technologies (consensus design, proof systems, or smart contract integration)
- Strong programming skills in Rust or Golang; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus
- Experience with verifiable computation, large-scale data aggregation, or similar privacy-preserving systems
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- English speaking skills are a must
Why Join Us
- Be part of a highly skilled global team tackling ambitious technical challenges
- Work on projects with real-world impact in finance, privacy, and blockchain innovation
